I really like this pattern with this variegated yarn!

The pattern is “holding hands, feeding ducks” and I CO 33 stitches.

I keep messing up and losing stitches somehow but that’s the not the reason I’m going to tear this up (frog)–the reason is that the edges have a bunch of big loops and it really looks amateurish. But I’ve enjoyed working on it and that’s what counts.

My grandmother passed away last night and she was a knitter. And although I never really talked much about knitting with her, I’m going to enjoy my knitting and think about her for awhile.
