Linen stitch green wool scarf

Am knitting a man’s warm scarf

First, I tried a regular knit purl stockinette but after hours of work, I realized I didn’t like it! So I thought about what I liked and remembered that the linen stitch with variegated yarn really looked nice so I started another hank using the that instead and I love it. I did have to get back in the hang of things and so I messed up and had to keep tearing out rows but then I got into the hang of it again.

So…10.5 Needles, 22 stitches across, and the linen stitch. The yarn was from Stash Yarn on Solano Avenue. The yarn is “Malabrigo chunky” kettled dyed pure merino wool–so soft! 104 yards, approx 3.5 oz. 3-3/5 in/inch. Needle seize 10-11. The color is camouflage type color (Jaen 113). ($11.75 per hank).
