About…
This is a sporadic blog about my creative efforts. I love my day job but do dream of having time to spend time developing my skills and finding a way to make a living doing this!
Most people are surprised that I knit and very few people know about my altered book and paper art fascination. On the outside, I seem like a very driven professional executive and hence, the title of my blog: the unlikely crafter.
Photos can be seen in my Flickr collection.

Hello Carol
You were right about the Karma.
Had my handbag returned to me today. II days later but hey, I’m grateful – it was my fault for being silly enough to leave it.
I wouldn’t ever hurt a living thing on purpose – there are lots of (hardened) bleached starfish lying around that have been washed up by the tide. I don’t need to hurt a moving one.

Hello
Just read your blog, found out you were in the bay area so I started reading.
Wow. I went to the Depot a few weeks ago and bought all kinds of yarns, rubber stamps and pad, and glass hearts. What a coincidence.
Since I live in Fresno, I on;y get up to the Depot a few times a year, but it always such a rush to find treasures. Then to have lunch at Bake Sale Betty’s mades the day complete.
Nice to hear your story…
Joyce

Thanks for your comments! Fresno is a long drive but in the summer, you should come more often–but bring a sweater
